Soil is a top covering of the Earth surface we need to grow crops.soil is formed when large rocks break into smaller pieces these pieces for the breakdown in to stand and said this is carried to different places by running water and wind all this however is a very slow process it takes thousand of year to form a very thin layer of soil. Where are so many types of soil in India. 1. Alluvial soil 2. Black soil 3. Red soil 4. Laterite soil 5. Mountain soil 6. Desert soil.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago

The soil is created by the process of weathering or disintegration of parent rocks by physical, chemical and biological agents. It is a slow process that takes thousands of years. The physical and chemical decomposition is principally done by water, wind, and climate. As a result of these processes, large rock pieces are converted into smaller pieces and eventually to the soil. Living organisms such as insects and microorganisms make the soil ready for the plants to grow. The growth of roots of plants further adds to the weathering of rocks and thus forms soil.

Isomers are chain isomers when two or more compounds have the same molecular formula but differ in the branching of carbon atoms. For example, we can represent C5H12 as three compounds: CH3CH2CH2CH2CH3– pentane.

A small part of a plant which is removed by making a cut with a sharp knife is called a 'cutting'. A cutting may be a piece of stem, root or even a leaf. While making a cut, care should be taken to see that there are some buds on it. Cutting is a part of artificial reproduction. In this method, a cutting of the parent plant (say, of stem or shoot) having some buds on it is taken and its lower part is buried in the moist soil. After a few days, the cutting develops roots, shoot and grows into a new plant.
