A subduction zone is the biggest crash scene on Earth. These boundaries mark the collision between two of the planet's tectonic plates. The plates are pieces of crust that slowly move across the planet's surface over millions of years.

Deep ocean trenches, volcanoes, island arcs, submarine mountain ranges, and fault lines are examples of features that can form along plate tectonic boundaries. At some convergent boundaries, an oceanic plate collides with a continental plate. Oceanic crust tends to be denser and thinner than continental crust, so the denser oceanic crust gets bent and pulled under, or subducted, beneath the lighter and thicker continental crust. This forms what is called a subduction zone. There are four types of plate boundaries: Divergent boundaries — where new crust is generated as the plates pull away from each other. Convergent boundaries — where crust is destroyed as one plate dives under another. Divergent boundaries: where new crust is generated as the plates pull away from each other.

Yes, I have seen dogs sniffing here and there. A dog can make out if another dog had come into their area by the smell of its urine. So, in order to check out whether any other dog has come out or not, a dog sniffs here and there.

The rectum acts as a temporary storage site for feces. The rectum receives faecal material from the descending colon, transmitted through regular muscle contractions called peristalsis. It is a part of large intestine. It stores the feces prior to defecation. It connects the sigmoid colon to the **** canal. The rectum begins at the height of S2-S3 and ends at the perineum. It is about 12 to 16 cm long und may be subdivided into three parts:
- The upper third lies intraperitoneally
- The middle third retroperitoneally
- The lower third under the pelvic diaphragm and therefore extraperitoneally.
It is important for the water resorption as well as for the resorption of electrolyte from the stool and plays an important role in the defecation process.
