प्रश्न 1. नाना मुझे झाड़-फूँक वाले आदमी के पास क्यों ले गए?
उत्तर- नाना ने देखा कि ऊँगली पर नीला निशान पड़ गया| उन्होंने समझा साँप ने काट लिया है, इसलिए साँप के काटे का झाड़-फूँक से इलाज़ करने वाले आदमी के पास ले गए|प्रश्न 2. मैं बूढ़े आदमी को क्या बताना चाहता था?
उत्तर- मैं बूढ़े आदमी को बताना चाहता था कि मुझे साँप ने नही, बल्कि बर्र ने काटा है|
प्रश्न 3. जब साँप नारियल के खोल में घुस गया तो मैंने क्या किया था? मैंने ऐसा क्यों किया होगा?
उत्तर- जब साँप नारियल के खोल में घुस गया तो मैंने एक पत्थर के टुकड़े से खोल का मुँह बंद कर दिया था| मैंने ऐसा अनजाने में किया होगा|
प्रश्न 4. क्या बूढ़े आदमी ने सचमुच मेरा इलाज़ कर दिया था? तुम ऐसा क्यों सोचते हो?
उत्तर- बूढ़े आदमी ने सचमुच इलाज़ नही किया था| हम ऐसा इसलिए सोचते है कि तुम्हें साँप ने काटा ही नहीं था|
प्रश्न 5. मुझे असल में साँप ने नही काटा था| फिर मैंने कहानी का नाम जब मुझको साँप ने काटा क्यों रखा है? तुम इससे भी अच्छा कोई नाम सोचकर बताओ|
उत्तर- मैंने कहानी का यह नाम इसलिए रखा, क्योंकि नाना-नानी तथा झाड़-फूँक वाले ने यही समझा कि मुझे साँप ने काटा है|
इस कहानी का शीर्षक- ‘झाड़-फूँक’ या ‘नाना की नासमझी’ हो सकता है|
