Many land animals use their tails to brush away flies and other biting insects. Some species, including cats and kangaroos, use their tails for balance; and some, such as New World monkeys and opossums, have what are known as prehensile tails, which are adapted to allow them to grasp tree branches. Cows use their tails in three major ways—communication, locomotion, and fly removal (response to skin irritation). So the tail is not a useless appendage that should be removed in a cavalier fashion.

When it comes to the main factor that differentiate the two, it is the fact that a nuclear family is small, while a joint family is big.
A joint family is considered bigger compared to a nuclear family because a joint family includes grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and in-laws, aside from the typical mother, father, and children.
When you ask older people, many prefer the joint family, as grandparents help the parents take care of the children. The need to employ a babysitter or nanny to look after the little ones when the parents are working are not necessary in joint families.
On the other hand, a lot of people also prefer a nuclear family. One of the reasons that a nuclear family is ideal to them is because there are less issues happening within the household compared to a joint family, wherein there are many personalities that you need to get along with.

Carbohydrates are the primary energy source for most activity and are burned more efficiently than protein or fat. For example, research has shown that the energy from carbohydrates can be released up to three times as fast as the energy from fat. The main purpose of carbohydrates in the diet is to provide energy. Most carbs get broken down or transformed into glucose, which can be used as energy. Carbs can also be turned into fat (stored energy) for later use. As a fuel, fat could be considered to have several advantages over carbohydrate, but from an exercise perspective it also has several disadvantages. It advantages are that it yields over twice as much energy as carbohydrate (9 kcal v 4 kcal) and that the body potentially has an abundant supply of it.
