x²+y²=(sinA+cosA) ² +(sinA-cosA) ²
= 2
OR,
x+y=k sinA, x-y=k cosA
x²+y²=1/2(k²sin²A + k²cos²A)
= 1/2 (k²(sin²A + cos²A))
= 1/2 *k²
= k²/2
