Charge of electron,q1=1.6×1019 C

Charge of proton, q2=+1.6×1019 C

Distance between them,r=0.8×1015 m

Coulomb's force is given by :

F=kq1q2r2

F=9×109×1.6×1019 C×1.6×1019 C(0.8×1015 m)2

F=360 N

Hence, the force between the proton and electron is 360 N and it is attractive in nature.
