Notable changes and points to remember in new pattern:
1. Subjects including Mathematics, Science, English, Social science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Home science, Music, Painting and others are refreshed as per new CBSE guidelines

A course structure with marking system of CBSE for class 10 is added in this column. MCQ, very short answer type, short answer type and long answer type questions are in the list which further subdivided into number of questions. Syllabus for term 1 comprises of five units namely Number system, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and statistics while term 2 syllabus contains five units as Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability, coordinate geometry and mensuration. 90 marks is distributed for theory and 10 marks for practical (lab activities).

A detailed syllabus which covers the entire topics of hindi A is added here. It is divided in 4 parts for term 1 and term 2, which are Apathit bodh, vyakarana, pathya pustak and lekhan. Formative exam F1, F2 for term 1 and F3, F4 for term 2 which contains 20 marks each. Reference books are kshitij part 2 and Kritika part 2. CBSE class 10 Hindi B syllabus is divided into four parts as Pathan Kaushal, vyakarana, pathya pustak andf lekhan. Sparsh part 1 and sanchayan part 1 are the reference books for this part. Students are adviced to download the detailed structure of syllabus.
Sanskrit syllabus is divided into two parts as rachnatmak mulyankan and sankalanatmak mulyankan. And further subdivided into part A- apathit avbodhnam, part B-rachnatmak karyam, part C-anuprayukt vyakarnam and part D-pathit avbodhnam. Term 1 syllabus has two parts ie Painting composition from memory and Project work.
Simple compositions in any medium (water/tempera/pastel etc.) on given subject based on sketching from life and nature. Subjects covering family, school, regional, national and international problems/ events/celebration/festivals etc.

Syllabus for Term 1 has three parts ie theory of 80 marks, practical and formative with 10 marks each. Syllabus contains Growth and Development II, Resources, Food hygiene, Therapeutic adaptation of normal diet, Apparel and fabric selection.
