2NaOH + H2SO4   ---------->   Na2SO4   +  H2O

The coefficient before all the compounds in the reaction above is called stoichiometric coefficient. For example the stoichiometric coefficient before NaOH is 2. If nothing is written before a compound it is considered as 1. For example the stoichiometric coefficient before H2SO4 is 1.
