Cdna stands for complementary dna. This is synthesised by the process of reverse transcription. In the process of transcription dna makes mrna strand and mrna through reverse transcription makes cdna on the action of enzyme reverse transcriptase. Cdna library will contain only those dna base sequences which have coding part or exon. Genomic or dna library have both coding and non coding parts in thier dna base sequences i.e. both exon and introns.
