The state in which the particles of a substance are dispersed but not totally dissolved in a fluid; the substance in this case is called suspended and the solution is called suspension.
Here the particles are disperesed in the fluid due to agitation. If the suspension is allowed to settle then the suspended particles can be seen at the bottom.
