Ans. Let Principal = 100 Rs.

Rate  = 12%

Amount = 200 ( as per question)

Interest = 200 - 100 = 100

Time required = {tex}Interest \times 100 \over Rate \times Principal{/tex}

{tex}=>{ 100\times 100 \over 12\times 100} = {25\over 3} = 8{1\over 3}Years{/tex}

= 8 Years 4 Months
