Ans. Let her actual marks = x
If she score 10 more then marks = x + 10
According to ques
5(x+10) = x2
=>5x +50 = x2
=> x2 - 5x - 50 = 0
=> x2 - 10x + 5x - 50 = 0
=> x(x-10) +5(x-10) = 0
=> (x-10)(x+5) = 0
either (x-10) = 0 or (x+5) = 0
x = 10 or x = -5
x can not be -5.
So x = 10
Actual marks = 10
