    Before answering your question, let me explain you what is NHFS ?

    It is NATIONAL HEALTH FAMILY SURVEY. which is conducted by the government of India (ministry of health and family welfare) across India to look out the health situation in our country.

    According to NHFS 3 (2006) 50% Of the children are malnourished. children under five were stunted and that too short of their life.

    According to same survey, 48% of all women including pregnant women are undernourished.
