- The French Revolution is significant for the fact that it marked the end of the institution of absolute monarchy in France and saw the establishment of a Republic. Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, which had become the guiding principles of the French Revolution, also became the foundational values of the French Republic.
- The ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity and the establishment of democratic government helped in the spread of nationalism in other parts of the world.
- The French Revolutionaries declared French as a common language of France, martyres were celebrated and oaths were taken on the name of the nation.
- The formal royal standard was replaced by the French tricolour.
All the above measures helped in spreading nationalism not only in France but also in Europe.

given
b ,c and 2 b are in Ap
then the common differences
c - b = 2b-c
-b- 2b = -c - c
-3b = -2c
{tex} \frac{b}{c} = \frac{ - 2}{ - 3} {/tex}
then,
{tex} \frac{b}{c} = \frac{2}{3} {/tex}

The Curved surface area of hemisphere = 2πr2
As the Hemisphere is the half part of a sphere, therefore, the curved surface area is also half that of the sphere.
The total surface area of the hemisphere– While calculating the total surface area of a hemisphere, we need to consider the base of the hemisphere which is circular in shape. Thus the total surface area of a hemisphere is equal to
Total Surface Area= Curved Surface Area + Area of the Base Circle
= 2πr2+πr2
= 3πr2

Frustum of a cone:
Cut a right circular cone with a plane parallel to the base of the cone, then the solid shape between the plane and the base of the cone is called the frustum of a cone.
e.g. Flower pots have a shape as the frustum of a cone.
The surface area and the volume of the frustum of a cone can be calculated using standard formulae.
CSA of the frustum of a cone = πl( r1 + r2).
where r1 = radius of the larger circular face of the frustum, r2 = radius of the smaller circular face of the frustum, and l = slant height of the frustum.
l = h2+(r1-r2)2h2+(r1-r2)2 and h is the height of the frustum.
TSA of a frustum of a cone = πl(r1 + r2) + πr12 + πr22
Volume of the frustum of a cone = (1/3) πh (r12 + r22 + r1 r2)

Step-by-step explanation:
Step-by-step explanation:
The perimeters of two similar triangles ∆ABC and ∆PQR are 35cm and 45cm respectively .
Theorem : The ratio of the areas of the two similar triangle is equal to the square of the perimeter of the corresponding similar triangles .

- We know that electric current is the result of the flow of electrons. The work done in moving the electron stream is known as electrical energy. The electrical energy can be converted into other forms of energy such as heat energy, light energy, etc. For example, in an iron box, electric energy is converted to heat energy. Likewise, the electric energy in a bulb is converted into light energy.
- There are two types of electric current known as alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). The direct current can flow only in one direction, whereas the alternating direction flows in two directions. Direct current is seldom used as a primary energy source in industries. It mostly used in low voltage applications such as charging batteries, aircraft applications, etc. Alternating current is used to operate appliances for both household and industrial and commercial use.
- The electric current is measured in ampere. One ampere of current represents one coulomb of electric charge moving past a specific point in one second.
1 ampere = 1 coulomb / 1 second - The conventional direction of an electric current is the direction in which a positive charge would move. Henceforth, the current flowing in the external circuit is directed away from the positive terminal and toward the negative terminal of the battery.

(a) Roasting of sulphide ore:
2Cu2S(s) + 3O2(s) → 2Cu2O(s) + 2SO2(g)
(b) Reduction of copper (I) oxide with copper (I) sulphide:
2Cu2O + Cu2S → 6Cu(s) + SO2(g)
This reaction is known as auto - reduction.
(c) Reaction for electrolytic refining:
At anode : Cu2+(aq) + 2e- → Cu(s)
At cathode : Cu(s) → Cu2+(aq)+ 2e-
