There should be any no. As whole no. Integer natural one but in exception there should not be any irrational no. As a correct choice because the sum of two rational no. Is always rational and as we konw natural no. Whole no. Integers are the subset of rational no..... Hope it will help you ?

Sec²∅ =tan²∅+1 Cosec²∅= Cot²∅+1 After adding both, we get Sec²∅+Cosec²∅=tan²∅+Cot²∅+2 Sec²∅+Cosec²∅=tan²∅+Cot²∅+ 2tan∅.cot∅ Sec²∅+cosec²∅=( tan∅+cot∅) ² So we can write √(sec²∅+cosec²∅) = tan∅+cot∅ Hence proved
