given , CP = Rs = 50
P % = 12 %
using SP = CP [100 + P %] / 100
= 50 [100 + 12] / 100
=50×112×100
=56
∴ The selling price is Rs 56 .

There are females = 30%
There area males = 40%
So, to find the percentage of child:
Child percentage = Total percentage - (male percentage + Female percentage)
=100%-(30%+40%)
=100%-70%
= 30%
Hence 30 % are children

To find the ratios, both quantities should be in same unit
9m to 27cm
⇒ 9×100cm to 27cm (∵ 1m=100cm)
⇒ 900cm to 27cm
Thus the ratio is =900/27 =100/3=100:3

To find the ratios, both quantities should be in same unit.
30 days to 36 hours
⇒ 30×24 hours to 36 hours (∵ 1day=24hours)
⇒ 720 hours to 26 hours.
Thus the ratio is =720/36 =20/1 =20:1

Two figures are _____if each when superprosed on the other covers it exactly.
congruent
The relation between two congruent objects being congruent is called congruence. The method of superposition examines the congruence of plane figures, line segments and angles. Two plane figures are congruent if each, when superimposed on the other, covers it exactly.

Pythagoras theorem states that “In a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides“. The sides of this triangle have been named as Perpendicular, Base and Hypotenuse. Here, the hypotenuse is the longest side, as it is opposite to the angle 90°. The sides of a right triangle (say a, b and c) which have positive integer values, when squared, are put into an equation, also called a Pythagorean triple.
If
“a” is the perpendicular side,
“b” is the base,
“c” is the hypotenuse side.
According to the definition, the Pythagoras Theorem formula is given as:
| Hypotenuse2 = Perpendicular2 + Base2
c2 = a2 + b2 |

We have,
Towards North=24m
Towards East=10m
Using Pythagoras Theorem,
(Hypotenuse)2=(base)2+(height)2
=(10)2+(24)2
=100+576
=676
=(26)2
Starting point =√(Hypotenuse)2
=√(26)2
=26m

We have,
Let the length of ladder=x m
Now, distance between foot of ladder and wall=5m
Height of the window from to ground=12m
∴ By using the hypotenuse theorem
∴x2=(12)2+(5)2
x=√144+25
x=√169
x=13
Length of the ladder is 3m

A number is divisible by 7 if it has a remainder of zero when divided by 7. Examples of numbers which are divisible by 7 are 28, 42, 56, 63, and 98. Divisibility by 7 can be checked by using long division, although this process can be quite time-consuming.

Equilateral triangle: An equilateral triangle is a triangle whose all three sides are equal.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Equilateral-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Equilateral Triangle">
</a>
Here, XYZ is an equilateral triangle as XY = YZ = ZX.
Isosceles triangle: An isosceles triangle is a triangle whose any two sides are equal.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Isosceles-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Isosceles Triangle">
</a>
The adjoining figure shows an isosceles triangle where XY = XZ.
Scalene triangle: In a scalene triangle, all the three sides are unequal.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Scalene-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Scalene Triangle">
</a>
The above figure shows a scalene triangle where XY ≠ YZ ≠ ZX.
Acute-angled triangle: If all the three angles of a triangle are acute angles (i.e., each measures less than 90°), it is called an acute-angled triangle.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Acute-angled-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Acute-angled Triangle">
</a>
Here, ∠XYZ, ∠YZX and ∠ZXY are all acute angles.
Right-angled triangle: If one of the angles of a triangle is a right angle (i.e., measures 90°), it is called a right-angled triangle.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Right-angled-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Right-angled Triangle">
</a>
Here, <XYZ = 90°.
Therefore, ∆ XYZ is a right-angled triangle.
Obtuse-angled triangle: If any of the three angles of a triangle is an obtuse angles (i.e., measures more than 90°), it is called an obtuse-angled triangle.
<a href="https://www.math-only-math.com/images/Obtuse-angled-triangle.png" rel="gallery[pageGallery]" title="Obtuse-angled Triangle">
</a>
Here, ∠XYZ > 90°.
Therefore, ∆ XYZ is an obtuse-angled triangle.

Let the Cost price = C.P
Loss% =( loss/C.P) × 100
Loss% =( (CP- SP)/CP ) × 100
5 =( (CP - 540)/CP ) × 100
5/100 = ( (CP - 540)/CP )
1/20 = ( (CP - 540)/CP )
CP = 20 (CP - 540)
20 = 20CP - 10800
20CP - CP = 10800
19CP = 10800
CP = 10800/19
CP =₹ 568.42
Hence, the cost price of an item = ₹ 568.42
