46%(w/w) C2H5OH = 46 gram of C2H5OH (solute) present in 100 gram of solution(solvent:water)
mole fraction = (mole of solute)/ (mole of solute + mole of solvent)
so, mole fraction of C2H5OH = [46/(2*12+6*1+1*16]/[{46/(2*12+6*1+1*16}+{54/2*1+1*16}]
= [46/46]/[{46/46}+{54/18}]
= 1/[1+3]
= 1/4
hence, ans : mole fraction of C2H5OH = (1/4)
molar mass of: C - 12; H - 1; O - 16
mole = mass / molar mass
