Average rate of reaction = ( change in concentration) / time

Change in concentration = (0.04 - 0.05)M  = - 0.01M

Time =30 minutes

Average rate of reaction = - 0.01M / 30 mins = 0.00033 mins = 3.3 X 10-4 M/  mins
