1)First Director General of ASI - Cunningham . 2)Used the accounts that were left by Chinese Buddhist Pilgrims who had visited Sub-continent. 3)His main interest was in 6th to 4th BCE and Later periods. 4)He mainly targeted to artefacts and assumed them for cultural value. 5)He missed Harappa, which was not described in Chinese Pilgrims. 6)Early Historic cities were not Fit in his framework of investigation. 7)He taken Harappan seal as objects, because like others, he thought that first City of Indian History began from Ganga Valley. 8)And Thus, he missed the significance of Harappa.
