Volume of the bigger cube= (A)3=(12)3=1728cm3(cube) Volume of small cube = 1728/8= 216cm3 Volume of small cube =a3 = 217cm3 3√216cm3 = a3 3√6×6×6=a A=6 Ratio =SA of big cube /SA of small cube 6A2/6a2 = 12×12/6×= 4/1 So the ratio will be 4:1
