Needed for life is released by mitrochondia in the form of "ATP"(Adenosine triphosphate) molecules ATP is known as energy currency of cell. Structure: Mitrochondia are strange organelles in the sense that they have there own DNA(deoxyribo nucleic acid) and ribosomes. Therefore, Mitrochondia are able to make some of their own proteins.
