The best example for conflicting developmental goals ips the case of construction of dams. Certain industrialists and farmers who live in high lying areas get benefits from adequate water supplies through these dams. But, for people living in villages at low lying areas, dams would create huge losses and their land would get submerged underwater. Therefore, protests would be launched by men from these villages.
