Land use pattern :- 1) Forest. 2) Land not available for cultivation - a) Barren and waste land. b) Land put for non agricultural purposes like Roads and railways. 3) Other uncultivated land (excluding FALLOW) - a) Culturable wasteland (left uncultivated for > 5 agricultural years). b) Grazing land and permanent pastures. c) Land under mischalleneous tree crops and groves. 4) Fallow land (can be current fallow or other than current fallow). 5) Net sown area - Land sown more than once in a year + Net sown area = Gross cropped area.
