A number which cannot be written in the form of p/q is called irrational number.

A rational number which can't Xpress in p/ q form, it is denoted by Q', & it is not an imaginary number. ex : π, 5/0, √2 etc.

A number  ‘s’  is called irrational if it cannot be written in the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0. E.g.:  E.g.: 1.234674322345634232789064590812343…… or  ∏, √2 etc,
