[Cr(CN)4]2- Cr2+=[Ar]3d^4;4s^0(exception configuration of cr with removal of 2 electron). As cn is strong ligand which pair up the electron as a result there become 3 vacant d orbital So check the question again here cn cannot be the ligand.
