<font color="blue">The narrator wanted to duplicate the round-the-world journey by Captain Cook. It had been his life-long dream to follow in the path of the famous explorer. He and his wife had been preparing for the journey for 16 years , practising sailing in the roughest waters they could find. They had also had a ship built for this very purpose.
