The excretory system consists of kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra. The waste which is present in the blood has to be removed from the body. A system to filter the waste is required. This is done by the blood capillaries in the kidneys. When blood reaches the two kidneys, it contains both useful substances are absorbed back into the blood after filtration in kidneys. The waste dissolved in water are removed as urine. From the kidneys, the urine goes into urinary bladder through tubes called ureters. It is stored in the bladder and is passed out through the muscular tube urethra. The kidneys, ureters, ureters, urinary bladder and urethra from the excretory system.
