No, glyptal and terylene are different, but terlyene and dacron are same. Dacron is another name for terylene. Both terylene and glyptal are polyesters. They are polycondensation products of dicarboxylic acid and diols. Terylene is prepared by heating a mixture of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid whereas glyptal is obtained by heating the mixture of ethylene glycol and phthalic acid. Hope it helps??
