Ans. His saving will form an AP

First term of AP (a) = 2000

Common Difference (d) = 100 (as he increased amount by 100)

No of Months (n) = 2 years = 2 * 12 = 24 months

Total Money  = {tex}{n\over 2} [2a+(n-1)d]{/tex}

{tex}{24\over 2}[2\times 2000 + (24-1)\times 100]{/tex}

=> {tex}12 [4000 + 2300]{/tex}

=> 12 [6300]

= 75600

He ll have Rs  75600 at the end of 2 years.
