Centrifugation: Centrifugation is a process that involves the use of the centrifugal force for the sedimentation of mixtures with a centrifuge, used in industry and in laboratory settings. This process is used to separate two immiscible liquids.
Under centrifugal force, the particles will begin sedimenting through the gradient in separate zones according to their size, shape and density.
