Mass of solution = 22+122=144 now, to calculate mass % of c6h6=22/144*100%=15.278% and mass % of ccl4=122/144*100%=84.72%

Mass of solution = Mass of benzene (C6H6) + Mass of CCl4
= 22 g + 122 g = 144 g
Mass percentage of {tex}{C_6}{H_6} = \frac{{{\text{Mass of benzene}}}}{{{\text{Mass of solution}}}} \times 100{/tex}
{tex} = \frac{{22g}}{{144g}} \times 100{/tex} = 15.28%
Mass percentage of {tex}CC{l_4} = \frac{{122g}}{{144g}} \times 100{/tex} = 84.72% or 100-15.28 = 84.72%
