Let the base be AB. Firstly, draw AB of 40mm. Then, draw a line perpendicular bisector of the AB. Then, cut an arc of radius 50mm on that line. Then take A as a centre and cut an arc on the other end point of the Altitude. Do same with B. The required triangle is formed.
