In case of redemption of preference share capital , capital redemption reserve is created . This account is a type of capital profit which is not distributable as profits.

पी० क्यू० कम्पनी लिमिटेड ने जनता को प्रत्येक ₹ 10 वाले 10,000 अंश ₹5 प्रति अंश प्रीमियम पर क्रय करने के लिये आमंत्रित किया निम्न प्रकार होना था आवेदन पर ₹2. आवंटन पर ₹7 (प्रीमियम सहित) प्रथम एवं अन्तिम याचना पर ₹ 6 | 14,000 अंशों के लिये आवेदन पत्र प्राप्त हुये। संचालक मण्डल ने 2,000 अंशों के आवेदन पत्रों को अस्वीकार कर दिया तथा उनकी आवेदन लौटा दी। 200 अशों को सममूल्य पर पुनर्निगमित कर दिया गया। उपर्युक्त व्यवहारों के लिये कम्पनी के जर्नल में प्रविष्टियाँ कीजिये।
