(i) Increases efficiency A manager achieves efficiency and reduces costs through proper planning, organizing, directing and controlling.
(ii) Helps in the development of society Management contributes to the development of society by producing good quality products at reasonable prices, using eco-friendly methods of production,
providing schools, hospitals and cretches to the employees.
