=>critical angle be ic.
=>sinic= 1/ u
where u is the refractive index of glass.
=> sin i / sin r =u
i = 40°
=>r = 40 - 15 = 25°
=> u = sin 40 / sin 25
=> u = 1.521
= >sinic= 1/ 1.521
=> ic=> sin-1(0.657) =41.11°
