Cataract is a clouding of the lens in your eye. It affects vision. It is very common in older people. A cataract can occur in either or both eyes. It cannot spread from one eye to the other.

Common symptoms are:

  1. Blurry vision 
  2. Colors that seem faded
  3. Glare - headlights, lamps or sunlight may seem too bright.You may also see a halo around lights.
  4. Not being able to see well at night
  5. Double vision
  6. Frequent prescription changes in your eye wear
