CurrentFlows in a wire through a closed circuit.this is as follow when switch is on current starts flowing from positive terminal to negative terminal and electron flows from negative terminal to positive terminal this way whole the circuit complete this process goes on and while flowing when the electron meets with a resistance ie fan,bulb and so on then the energy of electron get converted in different and work is done . Free electron are the carrier of charge.not all electron
