Simon Commision was appointed in 1927 to review the act of 1919.It was arrived in 1928 in India. It comprises 7 members of british parliament headed by sir john simon. When it came to india,the indians greet them with a slogan " Go back Simon" and demonstrated black flags the indians boycotted this commision because i there was no any indian member and the clause of this commision doesnt contain any hope of swaraj.

The Indian Statutory Commission, commonly referred to as the Simon Commission, was a group of seven British Members of Parliament under the chairmanship of Sir John Allsebrook Simon. The commission arrived in British India in 1928 to study constitutional reform in Britain's most important colonial dependency.
