The mean of 15 observation is 16 . If each observation in data is increased by 3 . Find its new mean .

    Sum of observation/no of ovservation
    sum/15 = 16
    summation of abservation = 240
    decrease of data = 240 ×  25/100
    = 60
    ∴mean = 60/15 or 4
