1. Chemical properties of an element depend upon its "atomic number", and isotopes being same in atomic number possesses same chemical properties.
2. Nothing will happen, it's normal. The average mass of all isotopes of an element in accordance with their percentage in nature, is considered the atomic mass for that element. This average is always(in general) fractional in nature. Thus elements having isotopes have fractional atomic masses.
