Resistivity of a material is defined as resistance per unit length of a unit cross section of the material. It's symbol is ρ. The SI Unit of resistivity is ohm m. ρ = ((Resistance)×(Area of cross section))/(Length of cross section) Simply, ρ = (R×A)/L
