A farmer covers perimeter of the square field =(4×10m =40m) in 40s. Rounds of the field taken in 140 sec =140÷40=3.5 rounds So ,if the farmer starts at point A, he reaches point C of the field in 2min 20 sec. Displacement = AC (H)whole square =(P)whole square +(B) whole square (H)whole square = (10)square + (10)square (H)whole square =100+100 H= √100+100 H=10√2 =14.14m
