In an orchard, 1/5 are orange trees, 3/13 of mango trees and the rest are banana trees. If the banana trees are 148 in number, find the total number of trees in the orchard.

Let the tot no of trees are 1 part Then tot no of banana trees are=1-{(1/5+3/13)} =1-(28/65)=37/65 Therefore,37/65=148 . 1 part=(148*65)/37 Therefore tot no of trees are 260 Hope you understand.
