In short term aims we aims to get benefit for the present but in long term aims we aims for the benefit for long term that is for the future generations

Short term aims may lead resources to exhaust and cannot be preserved for future,fulfil our needs faster Long term aims is in view to conserve resources from exhaustion and to preserve for future they meet our needs slowly but readily
