For ■ABCD: Diagonal =41 cm L=40cm According to Pythagoras theorem BCsq=ABsq+ACsq Thus 41sq=ABsq +40sq 1681=ABsq+1600 ABsq=1681-1600 =81 square root =9cm.Ans.
