Real image

1) when the rays of light after reflection from a mirror actually meet at a point a real image is formed.

2)Real image can be obtained on a screen.

3)Real image is inverted.

4)A concave mirror gives a real image if the object is placed at or beyond F.

Virtual image

1) When the rays of light after reflection from a mirror meet at a point a virtual image is formed

2)Virtual image cannot be obtained on screen.

3)Virtual image is erect

4) A concave mirror as well as a convex mirror can give a virtual image
