Hey always remember For both concave and convex mirrors(height of images) If image is below the horizon -ve If above the horizon +ve For lenses Convex:the image is always on the other side of lenses.So if u is +ve then v-ve and vice versa. Concave:the image is on the same direction likewise the object placed.so either both can be -ve/+ve Hope u understand now.
