Please read the question carefully, it is given that CdCl2 is Doped with AgCl not AgCl is doped with CdCl2. This means the impurity here is Ag+ from AgCl not Cd2+. In this case, we can say that it is possible that one Ag+ is occupying lattice site and another is occupying interstitial site. Another possibility which i think is possible is that only one Ag+ will occupy the lattice site and one Chlorine from the CdCl2 lattice will leave. Now this will make the crystal electrically neutral as a crystal should be. Also in this case as one chlorine has left the place, then it can develop electron holes in it as the Ag+ surrounding the Cl- will no longer have it so it may develop an electron hole. By this way it may conduct electricity. I'm not 100% sure also i am doing this question as my assignment now but i didnt got any proper answer.

When AgCl is doped with CaCl2 , Some of the sites of Ag+ Ions are occupied by Cd2+ Ions . As charge on Cd is +2 , One Cd+2 ion will replace Two Ag+ Ions. This lattice will have cationic vacancies and number of vacancies are same as the number of Sr2+ Ions. It increases electrical conductance due to vacancies.
