Because brutus speech make them believe that caesar was ambitious

Becoz they got impress by Brutus's speech as he has turned the mob against ceaser by his stt of orating Nd accusing ceaser of being ambitious...... The fickle minded citizens wanted to make him the next ceaser means they wanted to make him their new king...
