Lokesh Kumawat 6 years, 9 months ago

This rule states "Hold out the right hand with the first finger, second finger and thumb at right angle to each other. If forefinger represents the direction of the line of force, the thumb points in the direction of motion or applied force, then second finger points in the direction of the induced current.

You can easily learn this rule. By giving name to your thumb as father , Fore finger as mother And middle finger as your son. But finally u should know about the direction of these three fingers. These fingers are perpendicular to each other. Father is the sign of force , mother is the sign of magnetic current And son is the sign of magnetic field. Hope now you can easily understand. Best of luck for your exams

Stretch the thumb, forefinger and middle finger of right hand such that they are perpendicular to each other . If the forefinger indicates the direction of magnetic field and thumb shows the direction of motion of conductor, then the middle finger will show the direction of induced current
